Can you sing a Japanese anime song? For example, Dragon ball, Doraemon, Sazae-san, and etc.. Incidentally, I sing sometimes at Karaoke!! Anime song is enthusiastic. I think It gaves people a power or cheerful. Recently, Anime song is popular with foreigner and other country, too. It must be take large steps in the future!!
A famous singer, Ichirou Mizuki typifies in Japanese anime world. He is also popular known as “Aniki”, an informal way of referring to an older brother. He is very famous all over the world.
I like to watch anime on TV or Internet recently. Then, I focus on the anime which is on a basis Toyama. That is “true tears”.

The story that revolves around a high school student named Shinichirō Nakagami with a high artistic ability. He lives with his mother, father, and fellow high school student Hiromi Yuasa who moved into his house after her father died. True tears is modeled Johana town!! I’m impressed that my hometown is focued. I’ve watched it last year. It was pure and touching story. It was the first time to cry that watching anime.
B’z is a famous japanese hard rock duo. Takahiro Matsumoto is a guitarist who comprises almost songs. Koshi Inaba is a vocal who is write a lyrics.
They have released 45 singles and 16 albums. Also, they were the first artists from Asia to have their hand prints and signatures put up in the Hollywood’s Rock-Walk. Their concert and performances are very powerful, energetic and cool!! I’ve gone to their concert seven times. You must be attracted by B’z!
Long time no see! This time, I introduce Italian heavy metal band “ Rhapsody of Fire”. The band formed in 1993. Almost songs are symphonic and speedy. Their view looks like a famous movie “Load of the Rings”.
You must be taken with them! I strongly recommend the song “Emerald sword”. A story that is fantasic, is contained on this song. You not only listening but also enjoying imagine the scene. I especially like key bord part and guitar solo. Of course, I love vocalist Fabio Lione, too. I’ve been interested in Italy, Italian culture through them. They seem to be popular in their country.
Summer vacation is going to finish on weekend. It is sad for me. Especially, I was impressed by activity of athlete in Beijin Olympic. They have a great power and mind. I learned that don’t give up easily. People can achieve difficulty when they endure through sad or hard troubles.
I was moved by sincere effort of all athletes. Japanese athletes were prety cool!

Gothic metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music. Its characteristic is Dark melancholy sound and lyrics. The genre originated during the early 1990s in Europe. The music of gothic metal is diverse with bands known to adopt the gothic approach to different styles of heavy metal music.
Aestheticism and music like classis are characteristic of this genre.
Recently, Gothic metal is popular in Northern Europe. Some groups who are from Europe, is famous in U.S or Japan.
Evanescence who are from USA, sold 15 million first album around the world. They became famous in Japan too. Their world view is basically dark but sometimes has strong message.
It’s too dificult to understand about genre of heavy metal. I have to learn more and more!
Today, I will introduce Japanese Rock Band “MUCC”. Named after a character from the Japanese children’s TV show Ponkickies,the band is also known by the name 69 since “sixnine” can be pronounced “mukku” in Japanese.The band has, as of 2008, released eight studio albums, along with several live albums, EPs, singles and DVDs, some of which were also released in Europe.
MUCC has four member.
Tatsurou (逹瑯) – vocals, harmonica
Miya (ミヤ) – electric guitar, acoustic guitar, backing vocals
Yukke – bass guitar, double bass, electric upright bass
Satochi (Satoち) – drums
They are from Ishioka city in Ibaraki prefecture.
Their songs are usually melancholy lyrics,heavy melody and that’s also their characteristic.
MUCC holds many conserts almost anual in Japan. In 2005, they debued in Europe and performed in Sweden, Germany and Finland. I’ve gone to their concert about four years ago. It was so hard, heavy and too cool! I was very excited. I wanted to be like Tatsuro.Now this is a good old memory.

What do you visualize about ‘Ruins’? Many people may think that they are eerie or scary. Anyone live in and ruins are rotting away, let alone people must not visit. Many risks lurk in ruins. I think some people don’t know about Heavy Metal well. This music isn’t not so popular in Japan.
Then I want you to know about great and good points of Heavy Metal. There are many genre in Heavy Metal. Even I don’t know about it particularly.
Especially, I like ‘Northern Europe Heavy Metal’. It means a heavy metal band is from Finland, Sweden and Norway. I don’t know that Northern Europe Heavy Metal is established Western country.
What is characteristic of ‘Northern Europe Heavy Metal’ ?
Its characteristic is feathery and beautiful melody. Music is very fast. Some bands play an instrument besides guitar, bass and drums. It is popular to play the keyboard.
